Digital wallets promise to give people control over their data privacy and will offer companies a platform to obtain more valuable first-party data in a post-cookie world. According to The Linux Foundation, “Massive business model change is coming and the winning digital business will be the one that earns trust to directly access the real data in our wallets to create much better digital experiences.” 100 This will be the basis on which people reclaim their data privacy and control, and brands create better digital experiences.
