We are already seeing job roles being elevated as a result of AI (i.e. it will allow for employees to focus on more strategic rather than operative tasks). “Think about aircraft,” says SAS’ Schabenberger. “Today pilots operate machines that fly autonomously in autopilot COMPLETELY AGREE 32% mode. But nobody is talking about getting rid of pilots – they play a vital role in getting you STRONGLY AGREE 32% safely to your destination.” The results of our survey tell a similar story – NEUTRAL 31% with a twist.
